NEWS:

5/2011:  In the Fall of 2011 I will begin as full time faculty in the Bowling Green State University Department of Art.  Please refer to the page BGSU Foundry for news of upcoming events and activities.

2/2011:  As many have heard, I’ve been discussing the creation of the Robocop casting for a Detroit non-profit.  Discussions on the details of the creation of this epic work will continue.  Here is a pretty good interview about how I view this process and culture.

10/2010:  Recently, I’ve had the opportunity to design, construct, and operate a 5 furnace operation for a Matthew Barney production to produce a 25 ton casting.  Reviews from this performance are below.

DONATE TO SAVE THE CUPOLAS!!!

The furnace relocation relief fund.

In order for the organization to keep its most crucial components in its possession we need to raise a little money to assist in the transport of the five, seven ton capacity cupolas that were donated by Matthew Barney after the filming of KHU in October of 2010.  We are finally at a point that we can get them to a place that will accommodate storage and the use of these machines.  Please donate!!!  A description of the fundraiser is on the Carbon Arts page.
